Meet by ellebee

Hullo! I’m Lauren, the heart and hands behind by ellebee, and I’m from the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area, not the Department of Motor Vehicles lol). By day I work my 9-5 supporting government contracts, but when I'm off the clock you'll find me on the couch crafting some sort of handmade goodie and binging true crime documentaries or YouTube vlogs. 

When the COVID lockdowns hit in 2020, I tried my hand at sewing, embroidery, gardening (my plants didn’t stand a chance), and crocheting, which was the only hobby that stuck. There’s something so satisfying about turning yarn into something so cute AND functional!

I love sharing my craft with others, and it makes me happier than ever seeing my work brighten someone’s day. With a little (actually a lot of) encouragement from my husband, I finally decided to take the plunge and launch this online store. I’m excited to share my creations with you, and I hope they bring as much joy to your life as they do to mine (and if they don't, that's okay. Just please be nice - I'm literally just a 4'10" girlie doing this for fun).
